Our Story

Aside from doing your skin care, drinking water or listening to a good song, I strongly believe that lighting candles is also a way of taking care of yourself.

Moon River was founded in 2022 by a candles-go-best-with-music type of person. I think that nothing sets the mood quite like a great candle and an awesome song.While listening to Frank Ocean one night, I got carried away with the idea that some of his songs are so colorful, and you can almost smell the others.

Wouldn't this be a nice scented candle? I asked myself.

And that's where it all started...​At Moon River, we know that it’s crucial to ensure that only the best ingredients are invited into sacred spaces like your home. Since we opened our doors in 2022, we have built a reputation for designing luxurious, nourishing and indulgent products. Each candle has his own personality, resembling either a song or an entire album of his. You can easily access it by scanning the Spotify code attached to the label.

Though we now ship to customers far and wide, our commitment to superior quality hasn’t changed. All of the items made in our Timisoara studio are sourced, crafted and packaged with dedication and care, making them important elements of the ultimate self-care experience.
